The Apalachicola Reserve invites you to celebrate National Estuaries Day from 2 pm to 6:30 pm on Friday, September 25th. This is a very popular and loved event by our children.
Activities will focus on the importance of our estuaries and the need to protect them. Events will include boat tours, guided nature trail walks, children's activities including a cast netting game, wacky waterfront race and much more. There will also be touch tanks, live reptiles on display, and door prizes for adults.
The event is FREE! But children must be accompanied by an adult. Don't miss this very fun local event. And free T-shirts will be given to the first 500 attendees!
Oh, and the Apalachicola Reserve is located at the end of 7th St. in the North Historic District. Photo depicts the board walk at the Reserve. One of our little "tucked away" treasures.
