The Apalachicola Riverkeepers will host The Wild & Scenic Film Festival on Tour August 29th thru September 5th.
The festival is North America’s largest environmental film festival, bringing together a selection of films from the annual festival held in January in Nevada City, California. It will feature dozens of award-winning films and a children’s program.
This multi-day festival will be held at the Tupelo Theater in Wewahitchka, the Carrabelle City Auditorium, the FSU Coastal and Marine Lab in St. Teresa, and at the historic Dixie Theater in Apalachicola.
Times at the Dixie Theater on September 5 are as follows: 3pm: Children’s Program—Free to Children! 5pm: General Audience Program II 6:30 pm: Wine & Cheese Reception 7pm: General Audience Program III Tickets for Adults-$10 and can be purchased at the door or in advance, 850-653-8936.
